Unusual Chinese Sword Jian, straight double edge blade of shallow diamond section, brass hilt, the grip engraved on both sides with extensive inscriptions, brass cage-work top, plain brass mounts to matching hardwood scabbard, the front mounts applied with a stylised dragon and a pierced seal, probably first half of the 20th century.
