An Arts and Crafts hammered silver bowl garniture set of one large and two small bowls on stylised supports and circular base, by James Weir Glasgow 1904, the large bowl 20cm diameter by 16cm high, the smaller bowls 15x13cm approx. 37 troy ozs approx. Together with two similar Arts and Crafts hammered silver trumpet vases with loaded bases probably by Williams of Birmingham 1904. 21cm High approx. (5) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Good clear hallmarks, some slight rubbing in places. Some minor dinks and dents i places, But overall appearing complete . Some scratches to the bowls .

It was engraved with the cypher of Catherine the Great and an inscription to Cossack Hetman Grigory Melnikov. Marked on foot, near rim and on over. There is some wear to the marks, though each is still legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is a small bruise to the side with the engraved inscription.

Door for tabernacle. Spanish School, 16th century.Resurrection of Christ.Carved and polychrome wood.Measurements: 42 x 36 cm.Door for an altar tabernacle made of carved and polychromed wood, which still conserves part of the metal fittings. On the front of the relief, there is a usual decoration in this type of liturgical elements: the representation of the Risen Christ with the gesture of blessing with his right hand, while with his left hand he holds a cross with a phylactery. He rests his feet on the tomb, whose tombstone the miracle has raised, while the two Roman guards remain asleep. The heavenly world is represented in the upper part, with two angels whose trumpet blasts celebrate the event. The architectural structure, based on fluted pilasters supporting a semicircular arch, orders the composition.

He became a Fellow of the Royal Society and a Freemason, and in the 1746 edition of Anderson's History and Constitutions of the freemasons is associated with Thomas Thynne, second Viscount Weymouth to whom this book is dedicated. Harbin (c. 1665-1744), nonjuror and historical writer was librarian to Viscount Weymouth.

A pair of Edward VII silver Corinthian column candlesticks, maker Walter Latham & Son, Sheffield, 1909: with beaded nozzles, foliate capitals on stop fluted columns and stepped and weighted bases, 23.5cm high, together with a large silver trumpet-shaped vase on a weighted base, 32cm high. (3)
Celtic, enamelled bronze cheek piece or toggle, early 1st century AD, 9.4cm long by 1.7cm wide, circular in section, rod-like and flattened in the centre with a rectangular slot for receiving a strap; decorated along one face in La Tene style symmetrical cells with trumpet shapes, the fields originally inlaid with red enamel; an incised line connects the cells at each end. Very fine with dark brown patina £120-£150 --- Provenance: From a UK collection Cheek pieces were attached to each end of a bridle bit; they have been found in chieftain burials along with other grave goods
