A Victorian etched and cut glass claret jug with silver plated mounts of flared trumpet form, the upper section etched with a wide band of trailing vines, the wider lower section with cut decoration, the silver plated wide collar with floral decoration and Bacchus mask spout, domed lid with floral design divided into four by petal motif, pineapple finial, square pillar handle with dragon and scroll bracket mounts, 12in. (30.4cm) high.
An impressive Edwardian silver table centrepiece Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1910, in the form of an epergne, the central trumpet vase surrounded by three smaller detachable trumpet vases suspended from wire supports, three further scroll wire supports suspending swing handled sweetmeat baskets with three cast scroll and paw feet, all with pierced anthemion and foliate borders and Chippendale style rims, on a conforming spreading pedestal base, 15¾in. (40cm.) high, weight 68.5 tr.oz.

Hitler Youth WWII – archive relating to the career in the Hitler Youth of Helmut Nieboy including three volumes of his diaries with numerous tipped in original photos^ manuscript maps and text recording his activities in the movement; a book with the minutes and reports of the meetings of his group including the recording of songs^ political discussions^ planning of excursions^ with criticism of boys who didn’t follow the Nazi rules (and were therefore expelled); diplomas issued to him for his prowess in sports events; an account of his attendance at one of the Nuremberg Rallies and various loose photographs. Also in the archive are his tent^ his knife as issued with the Nazi insignias^ and his trumpet. The trumpet is considered to be particularly rare. A most important insight into the activities of the Hitler Youth^ launched by the Nazis as an Ayrian alternative to the Boy Scout Movement^ but also used throughout the 1930s as a vital training operation for future members of the German Armed Forces.

A Victorian Gothic Revival silver gilt chalice,by Carl Krall, London 1893, also stamped Krall in a rectangular shield, the plain tapering circular bowl above a knopped column stem, the knop with foliate decoration surrounding a pierced band inset with six amethyst cabochons, on hexagonal lobed trumpet foot resting on a pierced gallery base, 20cm high, 13oz CONDITION REPORT: General wear. Wear to gilding: to section of stem above rings and prominent areas and edges, also some scratches to gilding on bowl. Please view additional images (upon request).
