2nd-3rd century AD. A substantial cast plate brooch with openwork plaque of conjoined La Tène trumpet motifs; pin-lugs, pin and catchplate to the reverse. 12 grams, 47mm (1 3/4). A George V hallmarked silver cigarette case of rectangular form with overall engine turned decoration, initialled AAH to the lozenge shaped cartouche, Frederick Field, Birmingham 1925, a silver sovereign case with bright cut decoration, Birmingham 1903, two silver bladed pen knives with mother of pearl handles and a similar pickle fork, a salt spoon, a propelling pencil and a posy trumpet vase with loaded base, weighable silver approx 3.3ozt. CONDITION REPORT: The case is covered with tarnish. The rim of the posy vase is dented and several small dents throughout. The sovereign case is initialled JC. Stem of the salt spoon is bent.
