A Chinese cloisonné vase with ovoid body decorated with flowers and trumpet shaped neck CONDITION REPORTS 37.5 cm high Overall with some wear and scuffs, an area of denting and mis-shaping to the top rim which has caused the enamels to crack and there are various losses to enamels to this area, very irregular and uneven and scratched to the underside of the base and most of the enamel is missing to the underside of base, two holes drilled to the edge of the foot rim and some glue around these holes, a roughly rectangular shaped area to the inner rim of the neck (please see photos) - possibly where vase may previously have been converted to table lamp at some point, both foot rim and top rim have metal banding surrounding the rims and evidence of some chips and losses around the rims (bandings probably added as a repair), surface of enamels generally fairly matt (not glossy) and have various pitting.
A 19th Century Chinese porcelain baluster shaped vase with moulded trumpet neck with gilt chilong and two iron red and yellow dragons guarding the sacred pearl, on a blue ground, with gilt metal pierced cloud band base, together with a pair of Japanese porcelain plates decorated with flowering branches in blue, green, iron red and yellow CONDITION REPORTS Vase has a large chip / chunk missing from the rim, and some smaller chips. It makes a dull sound when tapped, so possibly a fault line. Various firing faults. The metal base appears to be attached via a bolt - so the vase has probably been drilled to the base. Wear and scuffs. The plates have some wear and rubbing, various firing faults and some firing cracks, and kiln deposits. One plate has a large chip to rim and some smaller chips.

A collection of Hollywood film related items, from the 1930s to 1950s, including a scrapbook and correspondence with Deanna Durbin, assorted Hollywood photographic stills and portraits of actors, including Clark Gable, Ginger Rogers, Gene Kelly and Joan Fontaine, some signed, and associated magazines and ephemera (qty) Condition report Report by GH There are 28 10 x 8 inch Hollywood photographic stills. Nineteen of these have identification on type written notes stuck to the backs of the photographs of the actors and films in question. Most of these are from R K O Radio Productions, and include actors such as Ralph Bellamy, Maureen O'Hara, Richard Dix, Joan Fontaine, Ginger Rogers, Joel McCrea and others of the period. There are also several postcard size photographs, many printed as postcards. Some of these have facsimile signatures such as Gene Kelly and Kathryn Grayson. There are three signed pieces, one of which is a photographic postcard of a musician with a trumpet and appears to say R E D. The second signed piece is a postcard sized photograph which says, all good wishes Lottie Lamour in blue ink. The last is a small 8.5 x 6.5 cm photograph signed by Carl Brisson.
Six pieces of Royal Crown Derby Imari including a circular bowl pattern 1128, diameter 19cm, a small rounded rectangular dish, length 18.5cm, a pair of small trumpet vases, height 6.5cm, and a pair of cups, height 9.75cm (6). CONDITION REPORT: Small pair of vases: one has a hairline approx 3cm from rim. Other pieces in good condition but some surface dirt, probably removable.
