An early William Moorcroft transitional trumpet vase in the Revived Cornflower pattern, manufactured at the newly established Cobridge factory in 1913-14, painted on a mottled green-blue ground, further painted decoration inside rim on a cream ground, painted 'W. Moorcroft' signature in green to base and impressed 21, no other marks, 10in. (25.5cm.) high, professional restoration to rim.* Condition: Professional, high quality restoration to rim - a large semi-circular section has been detached and smaller pieces at the ends of this also broken. Some tiny bubbles visible in glaze along the line of the break but otherwise needs to be seen under UV to be visible. Lower half of vase in very good, original condition.

(40.7cm.) diameter.* Condition: In very good condition, no scratches, hairlines or chips found, unmarked.
