A Chinese blue and white porcelain cylinder vase or brush pot, of cylindrical outline with compressed trumpet stem and a upper floral banding, the main body decorated with birds on tree boughs, on a circular foot, uncircled stylized four character Jiaqing mark beneath, but probably late Qing period, 26cm high.
A late 19th/early 20thC cloisonne vase, with a compressed trumpet stem and shouldered body profusely decorated with geometric banding, flowerheads and stylized birds predominately in blue, red, green and yellow on a white ground, on circular foot, converted to electricity, unmarked, 45cm high.

5th-6th century AD. A gold finger ring comprising a C-section hoop with flared shoulders, stepped conical bezel with inset irregular amethyst, lateral spur with trumpet-mouth and later pearl bead. Cf. Chadour, A.B. Rings. The Alice and Louis Koch Collection, volume I, Leeds, 1994, item 484. 11 grams, 40mm overall, 20.66mm internal diameter (approximate size British V 1/2, USA 10 3/4, Europe 24.91, Japan 24) (1 1/2"). Property of a South West London gentleman; acquired by his father in the 1970s; by descent 1986. Fine condition.
12th-13th century AD. A hollow-formed bronze aquamanile formed as a lion with hindlegs bent, tail curled to the rump, splayed claws' trumpet-shaped socket to the back, spout in the lion's mouth. 1.9kg, 23cm (9"). On the London art market since 2011; formerly in a private collection, 1970s. Fine condition, some small casting flaws.
