Four engraved wine glasses mid 18th century, one with a small rounded bowl engraved with a botanical spray of honeysuckle above a plain stem and folded foot, one with a bird and flower spray on a plain knopped stem, another with sprays of tulip and lily of the valley beside a large moth, on a knopped airtwist stem, the last with drawn trumpet bowl engraved with a rose and flying insect on a knopped plain stem above a conical foot, 17cm max. (4) Provenance: from a private collection in Sussex.
Three firing glasses late 18th century, two with drawn trumpet bowls on short plain stems, one engraved 'No 8', the other with Masonic emblems and the initials 'PEJ', the other glass with a rounded funnel bowl engraved with a band of fruiting grapevine, 11cm max. (3) Provenance: from a private collection in Sussex.

An armorial wine glass c.1765, the drawn trumpet bowl probably engraved in the 19th century with the crest of a lion rampant, emerging from brick battlements and holding an axe, raised on a double series opaque twist stem, 16.3cm. The crest on this glass appears to be for Sir Richard Quain, 1st Baronet, of 67 Harley Street London. He was a specialist in disorders of the heart, a member of both the Garrick Club and the Athenaeum, and was appointed physician extraordinary to Queen Victoria in 1891.
Two ale glasses c.1755, the larger with a funnel bowl engraved with hops and barley, above a double-knopped airtwist stem, the other with a narrow drawn trumpet bowl above a dense spiral airtwist, the latter's foot cracked and riveted, 20.5cm max. (2) Provenance: from a private collection in the north of England.
19th century French gilt porcelain inkwell, with tavern scene reserve 13.5cm, a trumpet shaped teacup and saucer, 11cm, and eight other pieces of teawares. (10) Condition Report Teapot, sucrier, tea cup and saucer: teapot lacks lid and has a chi to the rim, there is a large section of the rim re-stuck. The sucrier lacks its lid. Tea cup in good condition, saucer does not match.Inkwell has a 1cm repair to the rim and wear to the gilding.Trumpet-shaped cup and saucer: the gilding is heavily worn.Pair of large cups and saucers: the cups both have repaired handles and have wear to the gilding.

Movement good. Trumpet with age wear and paint loss. Phonograph and back cover are excellent.

LIBERTY & CO. 'CYMRIC' SILVER AND ENAMELLED VASE, model number: 2241, designed by Archibald Knox of trumpet form with relief and enamelled foliate stems, leaves and fruit. Birmingham 1906. 15cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Overall fairly good, some surface wear, scratches, one or two small areas of enamel, has a little bit of colour fade/ minor nibbles, hallmarks fairly clear.
