Antwerp 1920 Olympic Games gold prize winner's medal,designed by Josue Dupon, minted by Cossemans of Brussels, the obverse with an athlete with a palm of victory, Fame blows a trumpet beyond, the reverse with the Antwerp monument to the Legend of Braba, the cathedral and port beyond, traces of the original gildingThe goldplating on the Antwerp 1920 medals was very thin, the IOC later dictated that all gold winner´s medals should have at least 6 grams of goldplating to prevent the type of rubbing that occurred with the 1920 medal.The original recipient of this winner's medal is unknown.
A group of late 19th Century Cranberry glass comprising a pair of trumpet vases each with wave edge rim and applied trailing, a larger example with a crimped rim in a graduated opalescent finish, a posy basket with rope twist handle and a footed conical jug with applied handle and opal threading, tallest 31.5cm. (5)
*A Cyclist's Buglet. A four-turn example, engraved 'The Buglet - Prize Medals- 4 Turns - engraved, 'New Springs - Star Cycle Club'. Probably manufactured by Ward & Co., of St Anne Street, Liverpool, a small copper/brass bugle with nickel-plated edging to the oval trumpet and mouthpiece extension. Several small dents, but very sound. 7-inches (18cm) total length. (1)

Engraved on the side 'Presented to The Standhope Cycling Club, 1901, by J. Duncan Hodgson Manufacturer of Hardy Cycles'. With several very small dents, but fundamentally sound. 7-inches (18cm) total length. (1)
MOORCROFT; a floral tubeline decorated baluster vase on navy ground by Shirley Hayes, impressed marks to base, dated 1999, height approx 26cm, a trumpet vase and a 'Columbine' pattern vase (3). CONDITION REPORT: Navy baluster vase with some very minor surface scratches (see pic), trumpet vase ok, Columbine vase ok, all with usual manufacturing imperfections.
A Herend porcelain part tea set, a shaped oval tray, various trinket boxes including egg shaped example, etc. CONDITION REPORT: Height of teapot approx 12cm with cover, cover has chip, trumpet vase has small chip to rim, height 10cm, dish length approx 40cm, otherwise general surface wear including abrasions to surface, rubbing to decoration etc, various different numbers to bases, the majority of a matching or two very similar green floral patterns, blue 'Herend Hungary Handpainted' marks, cannot say whether it has been used, or whether purchased together or at different times. For postage we would recommend contacting Mailboxes Etc.
An early 20th century clear glass epergne, the central faceted trumpet with wavy pierced rim above bowl and knopped stem, on spreading circular base, height 31cm. CONDITION REPORT: Central trumpet sits at a slight angle and is quite loose at base, moulding lines to base, general surface wear and dirt.
A Victorian blue opaque glass epergne with painted floral sprays, with gilt metal foliate decorated wire work base, height 27cm. CONDITION REPORT: Chips and nibbles to central trumpet rim, small chip to one of smaller trumpets rim, another with very small nibble. Rubbing to gilt decoration, wear and rubbing to metal mounts, mount base misshapen.
JOSEPH GLOSTER LTD; a George V hallmarked silver trumpet vase with shaped rim and loaded spreading circular base, Birmingham 1919, height 21cm, and three further silver vases including a pair (all af) (4). CONDITION REPORT: First vase with rubbed hallmarks, slight wobble on flat surface, usual wear throughout including a sizeable dent to upper section, the other three vases are all severely damaged.
A RED-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE ‘BAJIXIANG’ VASE, GU QIANLONG SIX-CHARACTER SEAL MARK AND OF THE PERIOD (1736-1795) Modelled after an archaic ritual wine vessel, the bulbous central section raised on a bell-shaped foot rising to a flaring trumpet neck, exquisitely decorated in vivid enamels with lotus flower heads borne on scrolling foliage interspersed with the Eight Buddhist Emblems, all reserved on a deep oxblood-red ground beneath a continuous band of ruyi-heads to the rim and key-fret to the foot.A similar item, see Treasures of Imperial Porcelain: Qing Imperial porcelains in Hangzhou Tu Huo Zhai Ancient Ceramics Museum, Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Hangzhou, 2001, image 130. A VERY RARE PEACHBLOOM-GLAZED 'THREE-STRING' VASE, LAIFU ZUN XUANDE XUANDE SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE KANGXI (1662-1722) The high-shouldered, tapering vase is molded with three bow-strings on the base of the trumpet-form neck, and is covered overall in a glaze of soft pink tone with red speckling on the body and inner mouth rim.A similar Xuande six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle of a copper red glaze mitral pot see, Studies of the collections of the National Museum of China, Porcelain, Qing dynasty.Christies HongKong, 5th, Oct, 2016.
