Troughton & Simms 19thC mahogany stick barometer with carved and turned decoration to case. The white glass dial calibrated with the usual weather observations and barometric scale and thermometer below protected by carved convex glass cover. 110cm tall. (Despite his skill, Edward Troughton lived a semi-reclusive life and was characterised by his snuff-stained wig and ear trumpet. However, he was well respected and was awarded lucrative contracts by the East India Company, the Royal Observatory and the Board of Longtitude)

IAN CARR - BELLADONNA - Highly presentable 1st UK pressing of the fantastic 1972 LP from trumpet master Ian Carr (Vertigo swirl 6360 076). The record is in clean Ex condition with just a couple of very light and minor surface markings. Complete with swirl inner. The sleeve is in Ex condition with a light 'wavy' nature to the opening edge.
