A 19th century bone kangling (leg flute), crafted from a leg bone, the base stitched in red hide with white metal mounts heightened with coral and turquoise, approx 36 cms in length. Note: Kangling, derived from the Tibetan word "kang" meaning leg and "ling" meaning flute, it is a trumpet or horn used in Tibetan Buddhism, typically crafted from a human tibia or femur and used in Chöd rituals.

Meyrowitz Model 2x-type, celluloid earphone and mouthpiece with woven fabric-covered tube (restored damage to the mouthpiece) – 115cm. (length); a London, mid-20th Century, telescopic ‘banjo style’ ear trumpet hearing aid, possibly by R.J. Dowling of London for Medresco (Medical Research Council), lacquered-brass and oxidised metal, with dish-like bell, stamped OL.331 on tube – 37cm. (length, extended); a London, c. 1930s, Ardente “Phantom” earphone hearing aid, by The Ardente Hearing Aid, manufactured and sold by R.H. Three wine glasses, mid 18th century, one with a bell bowl on a plain stem, another a drawn trumpet rising from a teared stem above a folded conical foot, the last with ogee bowl with moulded vertical flutes, engraved with a band of flowers, a short crack to the folded foot of the last, 16cm max. A 'Friendly Hunt' firing glass, c.1750, the drawn trumpet bowl engraved around the rim with 'The Friendly Hunt' and a foliate sprig, raised on a short plain stem above a thick foot, 9.5cm.Cf. Bonhams, The Ron & Mary Thomas Collection of English Glass, 4th June 2008, lot 39 for an identical example.The Friendly Hunt was a meet associated to a Jacobite Society in Worcestershire. Founded in 1747, the Association met annually in rotation in the neighbouring towns of Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Dudley, Kidderminster and Stourbridge.
