MOORCROFT; two vases comprising a small vase of ovoid form with a band of clematis, on an egg yolk and green ground, height 13cm and a bulbous shaped floral vase with flared trumpet neck, decorated with hibiscus and pansies, on a blue ground, height 9.5cm, both impressed with Moorcroft factory stamp (2). CONDITION REPORT The first vase has a small firing crack to the rim, crackle to the glaze, but no obvious chips, cracks or repairs. The blue ground vase has no obvious chips, cracks or repairs, but there is crackle to the glaze.
A Georgian facet cut dessert glass, with lobed rim and cut ogee bowl on a faceted stem and lozenge cut conical foot, 16cm high, together with an Edward VIII coronation goblet, with drawn trumpet bowl engraved with the ER and crown cypher, dated 1937, on a plain stem with teardrop inclusion and a plain conical foot, 20cm high. (2)Condition report: Sweetmeat - numerous small knocks, small chips or imperfections to the faceted edges on the exterior of the bowl. Heavy missing to the underside of the foot. Please see images.Goblet - no damages or repairs. One light surface scratch to the bowl.

Rare Possible Prototype Wedgwood Bough Pot in the Manner of Christopher Dresser, a biscuit coloured vessel with three trumpet shaped stem or 'bough' holders, with blue painted, Aesthetic inspired, decoration, c1880s, the whole suggesting the quirky, 'ahead of it's time' work of designer Christopher Dresser; 7 inches (17.5cms) in diameter x 6 inches (15cms) high. PLEASE NOTE: Unable to find any references to this item of Wedgwood, the vendor consulted the Wedgwood Museum where it transpired that no-one had seen the design before and there were no comprehensive records of Dresser's designs, thus suggesting it may have been a prototype which did not go into production and is therefore very rare. Condition Report - Some Scuff Marks, Very Small Chip to Top of One Trumpet, Hard to see, Some Discolouration.
