An Edwardian silver epergne William Hutton and Son, London 1909, centralised bowl of segmented octagonal petal form, the curved rims decorated with scallop form pendant cartouches to centres, flanked by two symmetrical barbed branches with smaller conforming bowls, mounted on an octagonal inverted trumpet column and base supported on four scroll feet, 11½in. (29.25cm.) high, 18½in. (47cm.) wide, weight 55 tr.oz.

A CHINESE BRONZE 'GU' VASE, 19TH CENTURY, H: 28 cm. In an archaic bronze Gu form, the central bulb gently swollen, supported on a splayed foot, with a long neck flaring to a trumpet mouth. The Gu is decorated in high relief with a Shang Dynasty (c. 1600 - 1046 BC) taotie-mask motif. Provenance: English private collection. Condition Report: There is a small chip on the rim. Otherwise, in overall good condition.
