A pair of 19th century white opaque glass trumpet table lustres with green rims and floral gilt decoration, with knopped stem, height 23.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Generally appear to be in good condition with some areas of rubbing to the gilt, particularly to the stem, some small nibbles and some losses to the terminals and some edges of prisms.

A bronze brooch comprising a rectangular plate with high-relief rosette and scrolled tendril decoration within a bifid border, projecting catchplate below, sprung pin to the reverse. 26 grams, 48mm (2"). From a private collection; formed 1965-1975. The brooch is unusual in that its main decorative feature is a rectangular plaque similar to contemporary varieties of plate brooch. However, the sprung pin is more usually associated with certain types of bow brooch (e.g. the knee-brooch and trumpet types"). . Fine condition. Rare.
