A Jane Charles studio glass `Urchin` bowl, b.1961, Scottish, late 20th century, of flared trumpet form with ribbed mottled purple colouring upon a circular foot, height 15 cm, together with two further examples, one in a mottled green colour, 15 cm and the other in a mottled blue colour, height 10 cm, a Jane Charles studio glass `Reduction bowl` late 20th century, of cylindrical form with green body and flashed metallic band upon a circular foot, height 12.5 cm and a Jane Charles studio glass `Swirly bowl`, of flared cylindrical form in a blue ground with trailing yellow design upon a circular foot, height 12 cm, all etched with signature, (5). Provenance: estate of Lady Willis widow of Lord Willis of Chislehurst (Ted Willis) 1918-1992, screenwriter and playwright, creator of Dixon of Dock Green and other popular television dramas.
A pair of Continental earthenware pedestal vases with covers, early 20th century, the lobed guilloche decorated covers with acanthus leaf globular finials above trumpet necks with foliate applied tracery decoration, the ovoid bodies painted with colourful roses upon waisted lobed bases, parcel gilt tracery throughout, height 108 cm, (2).
