George III silver twin handled pedestal cup and cover, by Thomas Watson, Newcastle 1808, having an urn finial over a waisted cover, U-shaped bowl with twin handles, half reeded at the base and engraved with a band of trailing foliage at the neck, gilt interior, all raised on a stepped trumpet foot, height 32.5cm, presented on an ebonised socle supplied by Tessier, New Bond Street, London, overall height with socle 38cm, weight approx. 1.04kg (33.34 troy ozs)
