Varying levels of verdigris and wear from exposure and age. Some surface loss. A pair of silver-mounted Coalport porcelain trumpet vases, decorated with flowers and butterflies, hallmarked for Thomas Latham & Ernest Morton, Birmingham, 1910, printed factory marks in green, 20.5cm high; sold together with a further Coalport vase, circa 1875-1881, of cylindrical form, moulded with relief with leaves, winged and other insects including a dragonfly, printed factory mark, numbered 'A2960' in black, 18cm high (3)Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.Condition:Single vase - closely crazed to the glaze all over. Wear to the gilding around the inner rim. Rubbing to one section of the gilt on the base.Pair of vases - some general tarnishing and a couple of minor dings and dents to the silver mounts. The way that the silver has been mounted is also quite crude. The porcelain is crazed but has no signs of damage.

A five-piece porcelain Imari cabinet set, consisting of: three lidded vases and two vases with trumpet-shaped necks, Japan, late Edo, early 19th century. Blue/red, partly gold heightened floral decor in borders including cartouches, marked with character mark on the bottom, h 36 and 21.5 cm, up to. 8x (1x neck edge restored, 1x lid restored).
A Frisian tail clock, Friesland, mid 19th century. Oak case, the curved hood is crowned with Atlas and trumpet-blowing angels, pilasters with Corinthian capital and base as styles, polychrome decorated dial with a fantasy landscape and bridal wreath in the arch. The dial ring with Roman and Arabic numerals indicates the hours, minutes and seconds, h 140 cm.

A Chinese blue and white ‘Daoist immortals’ yen-yen vase, Kangxi period, the trumpet shaped neck painted with the Sanxing (three star gods); Fu, Lu and Shou and attendants, the baluster shaped body with four versions of Liu Hai dancing by the three legged toad, 46cm high, glaze losses to rim and edge of footcf. a similar Kangxi blue and white yen-yen vase from the Franks collection in the British Museum painted with Daoist immortals, accession No. Franks.277.+.***CONDITION REPORT***Provenance - UK private collection, 1920s or earlier, thence by family descent.This collection of late Ming and Qing dynasty porcelain and bronze vessels has been owned by a single Cotswold family for a number of generations dating back to the 1920s or earlier.The collection was formerly on display at the family home in Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, UK before the house was sold in the 1980s. Some interior photos taken c.1982 show a number of the pieces on display in the family house and an inventory undertaken in 1948 by the local Campden auctioneer and valuer Alfred Bower lists many of the items. Extracts of the 1948 inventory are included where they correspond to the relevant lots in the sale.The rim has several small areas of abrasion and glaze loss, the base has fritting and glaze losses around the edge. There are tiny black speckles to the glaze visible with the naked eye in a few areas, otherwise in good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks detected.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
