Buyer must be over the age of 18.Condition report: Action will cock and release correctly. It is not the strongest spring but perfectly serviceable to shoot a pellet. The rifle has overall pitting to the exterior which is too deep to polish out. The bore is generally good but there is a small ring of pitting. The rear sight blade has been replaced as has the butt cap. The stock has had a split at the top of the pistol grip glued. There are some scratches and dents to the stock too.

Steyr Mannlicher .308 bolt action rifle, SSG69 - Scharfschützengewehr 69, (Sharp Shooter Rifle 69) with 24 inch barrel, serial number 208411, with five round rotary box magazine, the received fitted with Picatinny rail (rear sight removed from barrel) the muzzle screw cut for moderator, in green synthetic stock.UK RFD OR FIREARMS LICENCE WITH CORRECT VARIATION FOR .308 RIFLE REQUIRED TO BUY THIS LOT.Condition report: The SSG has done a fair amount of work and shows signs of being carried many miles. The bore still has plenty of life in it and there are no faults as such but there is some wear. The stock has been damaged and there are two pieces of the end of the forend either side of the bipod rail which have been restuck. There are fine cracks either side of the main screws which hold the trigger guard assembly to the barrel. There is some wear to the chequering on the forend. The butt has some scratches or surface cracks which look like crazing on a pierce of pottery. There are signs of wear and use to the butt plate and the sling loop set into the stock. The muzzle is threaded for a moderator and the thread cover is not an original piece. The fixed iron sights have been removed and there is a plug fitted to the barrel to cover the whole for which the rear sight was originally fitted. I have been unable to move the screws set into the trigger guard and therefore am unable to access the date of manufacture underneath the barrel.

There are small marks to the finish but only occasional ones. The worst fault is a chip to the cheek rest close to the back of the bolt. The bore is in good order with strong and crisp rifling. It has been suggested that the two screws which govern the length of pull might be replaced however the vendor has stated the rifle is as he purchased it. There is an Allen key adjustable collar that sets the length of pull at a fixed length, the adjustment of this has left superficial surface marks to the metal rod. The images uploaded recently online showing the rifle on a red background are the images supplied to the Vendor when the rifle was purchased brand new.
M1886 Kropatschek Portuguese contract Short Rifle, manufactured by Steyr, with 26.5 inch barrel, fitted with folding leaf sight (ladder missing) receiver stamped with makers marks and crowned LI for Luís I member of the House of Braganza, and King of Portugal, bolt safety catch stamped BB906.Section 58(2) Antique /obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence.Condition report: The action cocks and dry fires however the bolt freely slides out. The bolt retaining screw is stuck in a half in half out positition. The magazine function does not currently work. The rifle needs some TLC and a full overhaul. There is a section of the stock towards the muzzle which is broken and restuck, there is a small split ahead of the trigger guard and a crack to the butt. The exterior of the metalwork ias some pitting and patches of fresh corrosion. The bore is filthy but strong rifling still remains, there are however patches of pitting which will probably not clean out. The cleaning rod and rear sight ladder blade are missing.

Enfield Snider smooth bored two-band .577 shotgun, with 30-inch barrel, folding ladder sight, Crown VR Enfield 1861 stamped lock, brass butt plate with New Zealand stamps.Section 58(2) Antique /obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. Condition report: The rifle metalwork has overall dark pitting with some small patches of corrosion, it might clean up to look a little better but will never be 100% perfect finish again. The action works correctly with a strong mainspring. The stock has the usual knocks and scratches of a military gun but nothing defacing and there is some pretty grain patterning in places. The trigger guard has the front screw replaced with a small incorrect brass example. The bore is like the exterior of the gun with some surface pitting. With some TLC and cleaning this gun could be made to look presentable.

There is however very small pitting spots to some of the lands in the second half of the barrel. The receiver has not been tapped and the action works correctly. The wood is all tight and is not loose and the barrel free floats. The markings including serial numbers are very faint under the paint finish. The side of the receiver has ROF No.4 MkI 12/43 in electro pencil but this is faint. There is no serial number to the bolt, the serial number to the magazine matches the number stamped on the wood. The number on the wrist join is illegible underneath the paint finish that has been applied. The rifle has been overhauled and refreshed generally at some point. There has been a stud applied to the stock for a bipod mount.

There is a crack to the stock ahead of the action, and a repair to the stock around the ramrod pipe. The stock otherwise has a pleasing patina with nice chequering. The metal has some light overall pitting, there is fresh surface corrosion to the tip of the muzzle and in other areas around the action which would clean up with relative ease. The bore has some light pitting spots but is otherwise very good with crisp rifling.
