Reverse is engraved “10 YEARS SERVICE – PTE J DENNISON LANC RIFLE VOL ATTENDANCE 28th JULY 1864”. Medal has ribbon fitted. Polished to the obverse but otherwise good condition.

Victorian Kings Royal Rifle Corps Officers Pill Box Cap, of dark navy blue cloth body with ribbed bottle green central band and knotted decoration top with half ball tuft. Leather sweatband and quilted artificial silk lining to the interior. Complete with the original thin chinstrap. Cap is housed in its original metal storage tin which at one time would of also held the peaked forage cap. Brass name plaque to the lid of the tin, “A Foster Esq Kings Royal Rifles” and Hawkes & Co retailers plaque to the lid also. Generally remains in good overall condition with only the sweatband having a couple of minor stitching faults.
