GC, the air chamber markings clear (scear fails to engage)

A .177” Webley Mark 3 Series 3 air rifle, number 13117 on loading lever and beneath barrel, markings on air chamber which has no telescopic sight ramp, the walnut stock has the slender ribbed fore end and the distinctive trigger guard of the Series 2. GWO & C, retaining much original blued finish, but with some very light surface rust (plastic butt disc missing, some knocks to butt)

An assembled Vic rifle regt officer’s sword, thin flexible DE Spanish blade 31”, etched and gilt for half length on both sides with fenestrated, stylized floral panels and marked “Fabrica de Toledo 1880” on one side at forte with Spanish R Arms on the other, regulation plated hilt incorporating crowned strung bugle, stepped pommel and backstrap with chequered thumbpiece, wirebound fishskin grip, in its plated scabbard (kinked, plating bubbled) with single ring. Sword near VGC, the blade and hilt retaining most original finish (minor rust speckles to inside of guard)

An American .50” centre fire conversion Springfield Model 1864 breech loading single shot rifle, 56” overall, barrel 36½”, hinged breech stamped with eagle’s head and “1866”, the flat lock bearing American eagle, “US Springfield” and “1864”; the fullstock having steel mounts, including 3 barrel bands and butt plate tang stamped “US”, sling swivels, and replacement cleaning rod. GWO & C (cleaned overall, with slight pitting). This Allin conversion was reduced from .58” to .50” by brazing a tube into the barrel. Plate 11
