Pre War 82nd Siberian Rifle Regiment Polish Army Officers Breast Badge, in silver (not marked) and enamel centre. Around the edge of the badge is PIECHOTY 82 PULK, and the centre has 1 SYB. Reverse has screw post fitting and dish back with makers mark W GONTARCZYK. Badge remains in good condition.

Selection of Kings crown Portcullis with South African honour worn by 16th City of London (Queens Westminster’s) in white metal, blackened brass and silver plate. Post 1921 officers silver plate conjoined ovals with crown example, two mess dress examples with backing plates, pair of brass collars and a 16th County of London battalion brass badge with two lug fittings and J &Co makers mark. A French Model 1876 ' Gras ' Sword Bayonet. Marked to top of blade Mre d'Armes de St Etienne Avril 1876. This bayonet was the last of the French "sword-type" bayonets. It was manufactured to fit the French Model 1874 "Gras" Infantry Rifle, basically a refinement of the Model 1866 Chassepot Infantry Rifle. The "Gras" was manufactured from 1874 to about 1885 H66cm

Badge. 1st Shropshire Rifle Volunteer Corps OR’s Victorian helmet plate circa 1880-87. A near relic die-stamped white metal example. Crowned star bearing laurel wreath and strap inscribed “1st Shropshire Rifle Volr. Corps”. To the voided centre, a shield charged with three loggerheads (leopard’s masks). Three loops to reverse. Shield detached on two of three points, several cracks. Hole at 7 o’clock. HQ at Shrewsbury. Became 1st VB KSLI on 1st December 1887.

Eight pointed star bearing circlet inscribed “Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Essex”; within the circlet, the Arms of Cambridge resting on a scroll inscribed “1st Cambs. R.V.”. Two loops to reverse. Minor wear to paintwok otherwise GC. (KK 1533) Formed 5th December 1859 from member of the Western and Clyde Engineering Works. Sub title (Glasgow, Second Northern). Redesignated 5th Corps in 1880 becoming 1st VB Highland Light Infantry in 1887
28th (London Irish) Middlesex Rifle Volunteers Victorian Officer’s tunic button. A fine scarce silvered example ‘Extra Treble Standard’. Crowned Harp within ‘Irish Volunteers’ strap. Complete with shank. VGC Approx. 24 mm. Originally raised in 1860 by Customs Officers in the London Docks, renumbered 15th Middlesex RV in 1881 becoming a VB of the Rifle Brigade amalgamating with 2nd Tower Hamlets in 1908 to form 17th Bn. Crowned star bearing laurel wreath and circlet inscribed “2nd Midlothian & Peebles R.V.” with Black Watch glengarry style device to voided centre. Two of three loops to reverse. Filled holes to circlet at 12 and 6 o’clock (from overlay when redesignated 6th VB Royal Scots in 1888). See “Scottish Regimental Badges 1793-1971” by W & K Bloomer No. 23 for similar example.

Within a wreath of oak, a crowned oval strap inscribed “1st Warwickshire Rifle Volunteers”; to the centre, a shield bearing the old arms of Birmingham.
