A .577” Volunteer 3 band Enfield percussion rifle by London Armoury Co, barrel 39” with London proofs and “L.A.C” stamp, the lock stamped with crown over “V.R”, “1860 over L.A.Co” and government inspector’s mark, walnut fullstock with regulation pattern brass mounts, sling swivels, and original steel ramrod. GWO&C, the bore clean, dark patina to steel parts (area of light bruising to stock below the lock). Until quite recently this was used for shooting, being legally held on a shotgun licence. £650-700

A .32” rimfire Stevens centre hammer tip down rifle, number 10431, 40½” overall, heavy octagonal barrel 26” marked “J Stevens & Co, Chicopee Falls, Mass Pat Sept 6 1884”, with folding ladder rearsight and tunnel foresight; with bright nickel plated frame and butt plate, and walnut butt. GWO & C (plating worn, the rearsight adapted to take an aperture sight). This item does not require a certificate. £300-350
A good private purchase pistol bore (.56”) Baker flintlock rifle, by Ezekiel Baker, probably made to special order for an officer, 45½” overall, barrel 30¼”, with deep 7 groove rifling, dove tailed block rearsight and brass fore sight, bayonet bar and false breech, the breech with Tower private proofs and signed “E. Baker”; signed flat stepped lock with safety bold, semi rainproof pan, and roller on frizzen spring, the lock plate with interesting feature of two holes to facilitate dismantling the action without the need of a spring clamp; walnut fullstock with full length rammer slit and cheekpiece on the butt; standard pattern brass mounts including 1805 pattern rounded butt trap cover with single compartment containing a double ended turnscrew and bar for fitting into the lock dismantling holes; with sling swivels and standard pattern steel ramrod. Good Working Order and Condition Plate £4000-5000.
A very good .65” Enfield made late pattern Baker flintlock rifle, 45½” overall, twist barrel 30” with ordnance proofs, block rearsight, and bayonet bar at the muzzle; slightly rounded lock with swan neck cock, with double line border and marked with crown over “GR” and “Rl. My Enfield”; walnut fullstock with cheek piece and full length ramrod slot, the butt stamped with broad arrow over “BO” and number “204”; regulation brass mounts including rounded butt box plate; with original steel ramrod. Very Good Condition, the barrel retaining some original browned finish overall. £6000-8000.

WWI BAYONET TRAINING RIFLE. Bayonet training rifle by Webley & Scott Ltd. Stock stamped with the manufacturer's name, broad arrow & 1915 date. The metal part of the plunger tube also bears military proof/acceptance markings. Upon contact, the rod compresses into the tube simulating bayonet combat. Compressed length 120cm. A 19th Century French 1866 pattern ' Chassepot ' rifle bayonet. The bayonet having ribbed brass hilt, muzzle ring and forward facing quillon. The crossguard marked 'J 36049 ' and the blade spine engraved "Mre Impale de St Etienne Aout 1867" (Manufactured in the Imperial Armory of St. Etienne in August 1867). The recurved ' Yataghan ' style blade housed within an original steel scabbard. Measures approx 71cm.
