An original WWII Second World War Nazi German era Mauser / K98 rifle bayonet dagger. Having a steel pommel with push release button with wooden grip handle and muzzle ring to the cross guard. The single edged fullered blade is housed within its original ebonised steel scabbard with frog stud. Good example.
An original WWI First World War Imperial German army SG 98/05 ' Butcher ' rifle bayonet. The blade marked for F. W. Holler and dated 1917. Hooked steel pommel with press release button, ribbed wooden grips and a forward back facing quillon. Within a period leather and steel scabbard. Measures approx; 52cm long in total.

The blade etched to ' Horst Wessel 18th SS Panzer Division ' and the text ' Fuhrer Wir Folgen Dir ' ( Leader We Are Following You ) to the reverse. Also showing detailed engraving of the Swastika and Schutzstaffel ' SS ' symbol in runic / runes. Wooden grip, steel pommel with push release button and engraved with the divisions insignia. The original steel scabbard shows the numbers ' 9884 ' above the frog stud and ' 44 asw ' to the reverse. Measures approx 41cm.
An original 1940 WWII Second World War Third Reich Nazi German K98 Rifle bayonet and scabbard.The BYM ( Maschinenhaus Ferlach Coded) Austrian made bayonet has a diagonally ribbed grip with steel pommel and push release button. It is numbered ' 24670 ' over ' 124 ' to the ricasso and ' BYM ' to the reverse. Numbers matching the accompanying scabbard. Measures approx 40cm

A good Vic officer's blue cloth spiked helmet of the 2nd Aberdeenshire Rifle Vols, silver plated top mount and spike, peak binding, ear rosettes and velvet backed chinchain, HP with St Andrew and cross on scarlet cloth to centre, title circle "2nd Aberdeenshire R.V", leather with silk lining, with gilt on scarlet leather label of "Steele & Co, Outfitters, 22 Union Street, Aberdeen"; in tin case (some wear and dents). VGC, a crisp example Plate Note: Written on lining leather is "k" and "Lieut Mair B. Co LARV..." remainder illegible, Thomas Mair is shown in the Army List for July 1871 as Lieutenant, 6th (Ellon) Corps, 2nd Admin Bn. Aberdeenshire Rifle Vols, and in the List for April 1883 as Lieutenant 2nd (Aberdeenshire) Vol Bn The Gordon Highlanders. £400-500
