Sets appear to be in Excellent - Mint condition in Very Good boxes with some storage wear and imperfections. (4)
Asset Figures - Two boxed sets of soldiers by Asset Figures. Sets are marked 'Nyasaland' 'Tanganika'; and 'Trinidad Police' 'Samali Scouts'. One of the 'Nyasaland' troops has a loose rifle, and four of the 'Samali Scouts' have loose rifles - despite this, overall the figures appear to be in Mint condition and are presented within Mint boxes. Cannot be posted to a private address and must be sent to a Registered Firearms Dealer.Condition report: The rifle has some signs of wear, mainly to the white logos on the action. The stock is in good order with only small signs of use and no splits. The action appears to work however it is very stiff and when you shoot the rifle it doesn't sound like there is a lot of power going out. The rifle therefore could benefit from an overhaul. The scope is clear to sight through, the focus and magnification work.

There is one blemish to the stock near the forend which has been coloured in, see photo online. There are other very minor scratches / marks but nothing defacing. There is a piece of velcro applied to the stock just behind the action. The cylinder cap has slight marring to the finish, it looks like it has jammed and someone has used a tool to unscrew it. The scope has very minor scratches to the surfaces but these are not visible when sighting through. Whilst the scope is sharp and in focus for me the focusing dial is stiff and I cannot get a lot of movement out of it. We have not tested this air rifle.

The wood has very faint scratches but these are not too noticeable. The bluing has very little signs of wear and only the occasional minor rust patch on the outside of the barrel which would probably clean up well. The white letter in fill is lacking in places and has discoloured in other areas. The action works correctly and the spring feels strong. The bore looks bright without signs of rust or pitting. There is a vacant dovetail where the rear sight has been removed with the fitting of the breech mounted aperture sight.

Spencer model 1865 repeating rifle, .56 calibre rimfire, serial number 9191, the 28 inch barrel fitted with folding ladder sight, and secured by three barrel bands, the breach marked Spencer repeating rifle Boston Mass pat'd March 6 1860, the stock with trap in the butt for loading cartridges.Section 58(2) Antique /obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence.Condition report: There is a faint split in the butt parallel to the where the magazine would run in the stock, there is another faint split between the lock retaining screw and the area where the wood meets the action. Both of these splits are on the reverse lock side. There is a chip to the metalwork just below the hammer which can be seen on photo 3 online. The action works correctly and the bore has strong rifling but it does however have quite a lot of pitting in the bore similar to the outward condition of the metalwork.

The wood has some dents and bruises mainly to the butt but also a couple between the two barrel bands and one to the wood near the muzzle. The bluing is good with a little wear in places such as the barrel bands. The bright polished steel has tarnishing and marks in some places and there is a little minor surface rust to the butt plate. The action appears to function correctly and there bore is in bright shiny condition with strong rifling and no signs of pitting.
Martini Henry .577 / 450 MkII volunteer rifle, the inside of the stock bearing original owners name 'Alfred Aglward Majaba 27th Feb 1881' the 32 inch barrel fitted with folding leaf sight up to 1300 yards, the rest of the rifle fitted out with standard specification military parts some of which bear WD Arrow marks.Section 58(2) Antique /obsolete calibre, can be owned without a licence. 32 inch barrel.Condition report: The rifle has a dark overall patina. Most of the bluing has turned matt dark brown, there are worn patches around the muzzle, butt plate, trigger guard etc. The stock has lots of knocks and small dents but nothing defacing. The bore is almost mint with only very light surface speckling. There is slight surface pitting to the exterior metalwork but nothing major. The action appears to function correctly.

Pritchett with incredibly unusual rifling. the 28 inch Damascus barrels fitted platinum breach plugs, with fixed 100 and three folding leaf sights up to 300 yards, the top rib part file cut and engraved Alex Henry 8 South St Andrews Street Edinburgh, the rifling pattern .557 across the lands and the multi-groove 34 bore, consisting of two deep grooves for a mechanical fit bullet as well as two bands of nine shallow grooves, fitted into figured chequered stock with spring loaded patch box marked with initials S.R., gold escutcheon engraved with a hand and crown armorial, the trigger guard tang marked with serial number 3222, the two side locks engraved R. T. Pritchett within double line borders and fitted with safety catches. The oak case with its pigskin lining (typical of best quality percussion firearms by Alex Henry) with brass edges fitted into leather outer case bearing original owner's name Struan Robertson, the inside with maker's label to lid, fitted out with two boxwood boxes, one containing patches, an empty cap tin, wad punch, oil bottle, two ramrods of slightly different lengths, a G. & J.W. The bores have a couple of pitting spots and there has been some pitting removed. The outside of the left barrel has a small surface dent 13.25 inches from the muzzle (photo added to our catalogue online) and there is a very slight ripple which can only just be felt when running your finger along the underside of the left hand barrel 10 inches from the muzzle which I think could be from a dent being lifted at some stage in its life.

Condition report: generally good in the bore, which has strong rifling and is bright. There are a couple of dark spots around the throat at the breach end at the start of the rifling in the grooves on the left hand side and there are is a spot around 5 inches from the muzzle in one of the grooves. I don't consider these to be major faults which would greatly affect accuracy.
