Scarce Luftwaffe LW-BAU-Regiment (Holland) Meissen Presentation Plate. Blue and white glaze plate which measures 26cms in diameter. Centre showing a member of the Luftwaffe in steel helmet and carrying a K98 rifle and another holding a spade. Large Luftwaffe eagle and swastika below. Around rim ‘Alles fur die Freiheit unseres deutschen Volkes’ with ‘Adolf Hitler’ underneath and at the bottom “LW-BAU-REGIMENT (HOLLAND). Meissen crossed swords mark on the reverse. Very good overall condition.
Victorian Rifle Volunteers Cross Belt and Pouch, white patent leather cross belt with plated officers whistle housed in original socket fitting with chain leading to lion head boss. Black leather pouch with Victorian crowned white metal LRV entwined cipher. Remains in generally good condition.

Seven Oaks & Bromley Local Militia Shako Plate 1808-1816, brass example in the form of an eight pointed star, circlet to the centre with regimental details within and rearing Kent horse to the centre. One lug fitting has been added to the reverse. Excavated and highly polished. Accompanied by a Kent Rifle Volunteers pouch badge with two screw post fittings to the reverse. (2 items)

Pegasus by the natives of the islands of Walla & Rano New Hebrides. Oct. 24/05. Note; Reference 1905-07 hand written journal of F.G. Hedingham sailor aboard H.M.S. Pegasus describing the 'massacre of the native peoples of Oceania' whereby '' Altogether about 24 pigs & about 60 Snider rifles'' were seized.
