A scarce .177” Lane Bros “Musketeer” break action air rifle c 1903-10, 41” overall, barrel 20” stamped “Musketeer” and “Lane Bros - London, British Made”, with side lever barrel release catch, number 1299, the trigger block stamped “Patent No 9644”, walnut butt with rounded semi pistol grip. GWO & C, with traces of original finish.
A scarce .177” Britannia “Anglo Sure Shot” (not marked as such) air rifle, number 2073, the 21” barrel with see saw rearsight and marked “Cox’s Patent C G Bonehill Sole Manufacturer” on the top flat, the left breech stamped with trade mark and “The Britannia”, walnut butt. GC (scear fails to hold, dark patina with some pitting, particularly to the barrel)
A rare .177” first model Britannia break action air rifle, 36½” overall, round barrel 21¾” apparently sleeved into the combined breech and pivot block, with small thumb release catch to the left of the breech, the air chamber and cocking lever matt nickel plated, stamped “Rd 394207” on air cylinder and breech pivot block, the barrel also stamped “Patent”, nicely figured pale walnut butt. GWO & C (has been pitted and well refinished overall, sights replaced) Plate 16
A .22” Relum Sport 822 break action air rifle, number B 7466, the beech stock with cheek piece and pistol grip, GWO & C (slightly worn overall); and a .177” Haenel XXX break action air gun, the tinplate barrel stamped “Made in Germany”, with beech stock. GWO & C, retaining most original blued finish. (2)
A .22” Sterling Armament Co HR 81 underlever air rifle, number 2988, with 4 x Kassnar telescopic sight, the butt with chequered pistol grip and rubber heel. VGWO & clean condition (a little wear to the original blued finish, one cocking lever pivot screw replaced), in a Napier semi rigid padded slip cover.
An 11mm Egyptian contract Remington rolling block SS rifle, 50” overall, barrel 35” with bayonet lug at muzzle and with ladder rearsight (slide missing), the frame tang stamped with Remington address and patent dates, walnut fullstock, the butt with indistinct ordnance stamp, with regulation steel mounts, sling swivels, steel cleaning rod, and a leather sling. GWO & basically GC (worn overall with light to moderate pitting)
An above average .577/450” Martini Henry Mark I modified to Mark II underlever SS rifle, 49” overall, barrel 33½”, the breech and action with military proofs and government sale marks, the frame marked with crowned “VR” and “Enfield / 1874/ II/ 2” (the “II” modified with the addition of an extra digit); walnut fullstock, the butt stamped with clean B’ham storekeepers mark dated 1878 over “II/2” and also having contemporary 1½” butt replacement stamped with government sale mark, and with chequered butt plate, with sling swivels and steel cleaning rod. GWO & C dark patina overall with hints of original finish (part of the ladder rearsight missing) Plate 16

A rare original NCO’s service-dress uniform tunic of the Adolf Hitler Unit 1939-45, of “feld-grau” serge fabric having applied makers label inscribed Soderbergs, Uppsala, long tunic pattern with external lower outer-pockets, with medal-award ribbon through upper button-hole, and with applied regimental embroidered flashes, rank-chevron and tabs, “SS” and rank tabs to collar, nickel-plated pin-fixing badge to left-breast pocket, pierced format of bayonet-fixed rifle in oak-leaf border design, original painted metal buttons, applied embroidered identity ribbon to left sleeve inscribed “Adolf Hitler” in gothic script, shows age-wear and usage (1)
