Mark II Pattern 1888 Volunteer Pattern bayonet with oil hole. ER dated Dec.1901. WD stamp and EFD, Enfield. Excellent clean blade. Pommel marked "V.2.C.C.2.EX.25." = Volunteer 2nd Cyclist company, 2nd BN Essex Regt for rifle no 25. Steel mounted leather scabbard marked GFD`00. With its correct frog with makers mark ***CELL LONDON. Stamped 6.10, June 1910. With officially added webbing carrying strap. Overall an untouched example.
Mark III 1916 S.M.L.E marked "Enfield 1916 SHT L.E III. In its original woodwork. Its butt marker disc shows: "T" , territorial "R176" rifle no 176 "CAMB", the Cambridge Regiment. Original regimentally marked SMLEs are rarely found these days. Woodwork is original and shows the wear and tear of service use with Armourers repair to the buttstock. Overall in good condition and working order. Deactivated with certificate. Fully correct specification for MKIII.
Pattern 1907 bayonet with Hooked Quillon. Pommel marked `3EX.174` 3rd Bn Essex Regt Rifle no.174. Clean blade 17" retaining original polish. Made 8`09 by Sanderson MATCHING scabbard numbered 174 and marked H.G.R.10. Hepburn gale and Ross 1910. Pommel and scabbard. Cross guard with medium salt and pepper pitting. A good original untouched example.
Confederate Belgian made musket from the American Civil War. Lock marked "C.S.A" Liege proofs. Stock heavily stamped "5th ATLANTA GA". Stock also marked "C.S.A." Back action percussion cock. This rifle was formally in the Mauser Museum, Obendorf, Germany and still bears their inventory tag. In good working order and condition. No licence required.

The group consists of DSO + Bar, 1914 Star (old copy clasp), BWM & Victory Medal + MID, IGS GV with North West Frontier 1935 clasp, GSM GVI with Palestine clasp, 1939-45 Star, Africa Star, Defence & War Medals, French Croix De Guerre 1914-1918 (all missing ribbons). Plus matching Miniature Medal groups mounted as worn. Westmorlands history is as follows, DSO 16/9/1918, Bar 15/2/19 & 30/7/19. Born 7/12/93 son of Lt Col H G., 37th. Educated Wellington College Sandhurst. 2/Lt Hants 3/9/13: noted for Cricket and Rifle Shooting. Severely Wounded 1914, Wounded again 29/4/16 and again August /18. Mentioned In Despatches x3. A superb group to a gallant officer.

An Inter-War period finely engraved BSA Lincoln Jeffries .177 calibre under-lever air rifle, number L.27539, with a chequered walnut stock, overall length 101.5cm. Extensively engraved with a scene of Diana the Huntress within acanthus scroll borders and with further scroll work engraving to the lever and trigger guard, titled `The Birmingham Small Arms Company Limited` to the top of the barrel and `engraved by P.J. Spode` to the underside of the lever. Complete with a later bespoke red baize lined and perspex display stand within an enclosed glass case. ILLUSTRATED
