A Very Rare Silver Cross Belt Plate - The King's Royal Rifle Corps, (King's Crown), with backing plate Note: After the Boer War there was no space on the cross for further battle honours. The Officers consulted the King suggesting that the plate should revert back to the Peninsular Cross plate, i.e. with Queen Victoria Crown, Georgian Crown.
