Sharp Innova 2 .22 pump up air rifle. Serial No. A803953. CONDITION REPORT: The gun is generally in good order but has been used hence there are very light patches of rust here, there and everywhere. The action is in working order, the bolt working freely. The stock has light dings and scratches but nothing untoward.
Werndl Austro-Hungarian breeching loading rifle, marked to the top of the barrel "ST70" and "GA", 31.5" barrel, 127 cm overall, (AF). CONDITION REPORT: The lock is missing as is the rod. The front screw holding the trigger guard in place has been changed for a bolt and washers. There is also a section of timber missing to the butt stock approximately 2.5 cm x 1 cm in length. Other than this the stock appears to be in reasonable condition for the age. The trigger is free as is the breach.
Frederick Beesley of London Best Quality 12 bore side/side shotgun, 29.75" barrels, cylinder and cylinder choke, nitro-proof, rib engraved "F. Beesley, 2 St. James's Street, London, Pall Mall Corner", both barrels marked "Whitworths Fluid Pressed Steel" and with scroll engraving to the breech ends, side lock, ejector, locks with bouquet and scroll engraving and carved leaf fences, top lever, automatic safety, single trigger, 14./5" well figured stock including 1/2" extension, comes with leather oak and brass cornered motor case with maroon baize fitted interior with trade label to lid "F. Beesley Gun & Rifle Manufacturer, 2 St. James's Street, London", Beesley 12 bore snap caps, Hawksley oil bottle, chamber brush, cleaning rod, etc. and canvas outer case cover. The gun dating from 1906 see British Gunmakers Volume 1 Nigel Brown page 100. The gun was built on 6th June 1906 for T. Acton at the cost of 60 guineas with thanks to Michael Sillwood Gun Room Manager London Gun Services & Frederick Beesley Gunmakers. Serial No. 1943. SHOTGUN CERTIFICATE REQUIRED CONDITION REPORT: Both barrels are free from dents and bulges. There are a number of light marks internally but nothing untoward. The barrels are of chopper lump construction. The gun is tight at the face and both ejectors are working correctly. The woodwork is in very good order showing signs of light use only. The gun comes with numerous receipts for work done, including stripping, cleaning, tightening the action and confirming that the pits in the barrel were caused by chemical deposits left by the priming powder in the old type cartridges. These pits will not get any worse because modern cartridges leave no such deposits. The case outer canvas covering is in reasonable order with general wear and tear commensurate with age and the lining is coming away. The motor case leather exterior is in good order with age related bumps and wear only. Internally the case is in very good order. There is a section of oak missing to the top right hand lip approximately 1 cm in length and there is also a hole to the baize on the lid by the trade label on the left hand side otherwise in good order.
French T-Back sword bayonet for use on 11 mm Gras rifle, spine marked "St. Etienne 1876". Blade length 52 cm, overall length 64 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both the scabbard and bayonet are in good order having been recently cleaned. The scabbard is numbered “50319”, the blade with proofs marks - an M in an oval and crown above a castle in an oval. The crossguard is stamped “57025” with further proof marks - M in an oval, crown above a D in an oval.
