South Eastern Railway Co large pattern handlamp. Never seen any other SER lamp of this size and is clearly an early example of the latter standard but smaller SER lamp. Originally a 3 aspect rotating drum,, but one glass has been blanked out with tin plate leaving a clear and red glass only, Normal SER pattern back and side catch, Bevelled glass lens, SER Co, chimney brass plate and a full title SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY Co on side of body. Original unmarked rape vessel. This is a one off, not ever seen before, let alone with a full title plate so it must be very early lamp I guess around the mid 1800s.
