A WW1, possibly earlier, set of binoculars, including leather case of issue. Blackened brass body with central focusing dial, and extending lens cups. Leather bound body (missing to one side). Marked only with 'Made in France'. Condition: service and age related wear to painted finish, and leather covering (which is absent to one side). The optics are clear, and the binoculars would appear to focus in the correct way. Much wear to the surface of the leather case, with the shoulder strap also being broken.
