It is believed this was not an official Kodak scheme but one introduced independently in the early 1980s by a Kodak dealer who wanted customers to try out a new Disc camera without first having to invest in an unknown (and at the time, expensive) system. Some stickers missing, but possibly a unique Kodak collectable.

BOBAK, JONS, MALONE - MOTHERLIGHT - The pioneering LP from Mike Bobak, Andy Johns (not Jons!) and Wilson Malone, three backroom boys at the Morgan Sound Recording Studios in Willesden, London. This is the original UK pressing on Morgan Blue Town (BT 5003). The record is in stunning Ex+ condition with only one or two extremely minor wispy marks when viewed under very strong light. The original textured sleeve is in nice Ex condition with some light staining on the front. Bobak recalls: "The album was definitely a low-key thing, really just us having fun. We used dead studio time late at night to record the music, and part of the agreement was that we lost all rights to the tracks as soon as we created them. But that was alright – the album wasn't going to sell a million, though someone did tell me that it reached the charts in Holland!" The record is full of beautiful melodies which can take the form into haunting ethereal piano sections (The Lens), or guitar sections full of fuzz and psych (the beautiful On A Meadow-Lea). Unmissable.
