A pair of leather cased Carl Zeiss Jena silvamar 6 x binoculars, No. 226634, together with a pair of small binoculars stamped '8-lenses' CONDITION REPORTS The leather case has wear, discolouration and staining. Has probably been re-stitched in several places at some point and appears to have had a repair to the clasp. The strap is peeling and bent in several places. Is initialled "RRB" to top. There is only one lens cover, there is wear to the blacking and the brass is coming through in a variety of places. One of the eye pieces does not fit flush to its' base. There are a couple of holes to the focus turning mechanisms. There is a piece of leather missing from the base of one of the lenses. Both lenses are dirty to the interior as well as the exteriors with various black blobs etc showing on them. There is also some wear to the blacking in various places all over revealing the brass beneath. There is various wear to the leatherette style cover in several places. the lenses appear dirty and there is something hanging loose in one of the barrels. Both have wear and tear conducive with significant use and are in need of a good clean - see images for more details
WW2 German Kriegsmarine 12x60 Ships Binoculars / Optics, retaining nearly all of the original battleship grey paint finish. Lens cover with plate attached, blc Rm-F 12x60 fur 3R Le Nr 48. Complete with range plaque, Bakelite eyepiece cover with original webbing strap, two colour rubber surround. Some perishing to the rubber but otherwise good condition.
German Artillery Range Finder, made by Carl Zeiss, Jena. Containing all of its original green field paint finish. Leather lens covers remain. Complete with the various guide plates and fittings. Housed in the original storage container with a selection of the accessories, some cables have eagle and swastika marks. Appears to be in good condition overall.
