A World War I Director theodolite, by E R Watts & Son, numbered 4904 and dated 1918, in a fitted case with spare lens CONDITION REPORT: The wooden case has some staining, dents and scuffs in line with age and usage. The theodolite appears in good condition overall with only the wear expected from use. We cannot guarantee completeness as we do not know whether there were ever any further lenses etc.
Box of cased scientific equipment to include; a cased Carl Zeiss Jena enamelled and polished brass microscope, various boxes of glass sildes, boxed scales, box of weights, instruments; tweezers, specimen knife etc and a Fotogram 10/6 photo-exposure calculator etc. (B.P. 24% incl. Art Deco octagonal dress ring set three old brilliant cut diamonds surrounded by diamond chipsLength and width of ring head 15mm x 9mm. There are inclusions in the diamonds with x 10 lens but not with the naked eye. Diamonds appear white and of reasonable clarity although the ring is very dirty so this will improve.
