A vintage post-WWII Second World War sextant navigational instrument with a brass gauge and brown Bakelite handle. Within its original fitted hardwood box with lens and certificate from the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington certifying that sextant no. 1334b is suitable for measurements of one minute accuracy and reaches the standard for grade III. Dated 1950. Measures approx 10 inches x 5 1/2 inches x 10 inches when boxed.
An incredibly rare original WWII Second World War Lancaster / Spitfire (and other aircraft) heavy reconnaissance camera Type F.24. The camera with various plaques - ' Magazine Film F.24 Camera ' fitted with a 14A/535 Motor Unit and ' Gearbox Type F '. Supplied within its original and correct wooden crate, with accessories. Appears complete. Along with an even rarer ' Cone Lens 14" ' lens attachment, also within its original wooden crate box. Incredibly rare to find a complete F.24 camera with it's ancillary components present. NOTE: Proceeds from this lot are being donated towards the ' Attack On The Sorpe Dam ' film project. The film tells the story of the famous Dambusters raid of WWII, and features testimony from George 'Johnny' Johnson himself.

A Rolex stainless steel Oyster Perpetual gentleman's automatic wrist watch, 1970s, black 27mm. dial signed 'ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED', 26 jewel cal. 1570 automatic movement, signed Montres Rolex S.A. Geneva, numbered 888368, 35mm. Oyster case, signed Montres Rolex S.A., numbered 1002, Rolex crown, original stainless steel 424 bracelet, with green suede Rolex pouch, no papers or box.* Condition: Watch winds and runs. No papers or box with the watch. Current owner bought the watch new. Currently in a green suede Rolex service pouch. Some scratches to glass to top half and small area to bevelled edge which has a few tiny chips which have been worn smooth. Top of each lug has overall scratchinga/abrasion which would benefit from polishing. Hands have some corrosion spotting visible when examined under a lens. Batons are however clean and dial overall VG. Bracelet has some scratching and surface scuffing overall from wear. Clasp functions correctly. Rubber gasket to case back has stretched a little and would ideally be replaced.
A late 19th century mahogany and brass magic lantern:, unsigned, with Russian lacquer chimney, fitted later electrical bulb but retaining original Beard's Patent gas burner in case, fitted 10 inch Aldis-Butcher projection lens, with brass lacquer 8/12 inch. 10 1/2 inch and 12 1/2 inch lenses in a fitted wooden drawer to case, together with a small collection of accessories and a group of 3 inch diapositive lantern slides.
