A Leica I Interchangeable, Model C with standard mount, and Elmar f/3.5 50mm lens. Body carries English markings on base, with serial no. 684725 - final digit out of alignment and added later? Body P, lens F Body has extensive paint loss with signs of shallow impact here and there, but intact with complete leatherette. Shutter blinds apparently in good condition. Viewfinder clear. Lens has a little internal dust and fungus, but elements otherwise good. Retracting part of lens barrel clean and new-looking, likely to be a later replacement. Other areas have minor marks and front misshapen following impact. Iris and focus functional and smooth.

A Sanderson Quarter-Plate Mahogany and Brass Field Camera, serial no. 22453 (apx. 1914), with Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar f/4.5 13.5cm lens in Compur rim-set shutter, with plate enabling camera to be fitted to modern tripod, body G-E, lens G, working shutter Comb-joined mahogany body, comb-jointed, a few trivial marks here and there but generally attractive. Brasswork complete and bright. Carry handle present, but broken. Lens appears to be clean with working shutter. Nice camera with no major issues.
A Fallowfield Half-Plate Mahogany and Brass Camera, with maroon bellows, detachable from lens panel by interesting bayonet device derived from early Kinnear cameras, f/8 8in brass lens and one dds, body G, lens G Unusually well preserved and attractive - the usual minor faults do not greatly detract. Bellows in good condition, leather on carry handle and tab lifting front bayonet in good condition, wood attractive with the usual minor marks particularly around tripod ring, brass fittings attractive and figured, lens lacquer in good condition with clear glass, but hood and rear of lens show evidence of impact but hard to see.
A Victorian Walnut Stereo Viewer with Stereo Cards including Underwood Boer War Set, the viewer complete with card rest and stereo lenses, top section lifts to access large magnifying lens and pierced card rest, F/G; the Boer War cards in cloth-lined card box, spine embossed in gilt with `South African War: Underwood & Underwood`, containing 25 pictures of military and other South African subjects together with 12 cards also from Underwood depicting scenes from the Indian empire; also a collection of 57 cards published by Realistic Travels, May & Sons, and others, subject-matter includes shot of Queen Alexandra opening the Royal Navy Hospital at Hull, and three WWI shot propaganda photos including pictures of the German fleet at Scapa Flow and impounded U-boats, Swiss Scenery, comic subjects, scenic shots from Switzerland and elsewhere, variable condition but majority G, in leather case (P)
A Leica II, black, serial no. 85057, with Elmar f/3.5 50mm lens and erc, body F/P, lens F, shutter working Body has signs of heavy use, with paint loss, scratches and signs of repainting. Base plate slightly indented near tripod socket. Front of slow speed dial brassed. Leatherette complete but worn in places. All working with shutter blinds apparently in good order, good viewfinder, functional rangefinder. Lens barrel mostly OK except for bezel at front which is corrugated. Iris working but stiff, focus smooth. Glass has minor front scratches and dust, but clear. Cas shabby but functional.
Hand and Stand Cameras: a Sanderson quarter-plate serial no. 7737, c.1904, P, with f/6.8 Goerz Doppelanastigmat 120mm lens, G, in working Compur dial-set shutter; and unbranded camera, tropical style with teak body and brass binding, G, with Carl Zeiss Jena f/4.5 Tessar 12cm lens, G, in Compur dial-set shutter, slow speeds sticky but working, with film back, in leather case Sanderson shows signs of heavy use, and is a restoration project. Bellows are worn, case looks scuffed and tired. Lens and shutter not pristine, but in good working order. The unmarked camera has signs of light to moderate use, and may be American in origin It`s lightly built and suffers by comparison with classic British manufacture, but a pretty little item nonetheless. Lens clean, shutter could probably be easily returned to total efficiency.

Bellows supple and intact, wood attractive with usual marks around tripod ring and elsewhere, brass fittings complete with original lacquer, carry handle and plate back intact and working. Lens lacquer attractive and largely complete, working iris with dual (time / f/stop) scales, glass has few minor coating marks and a couple of tiny chips at extreme edge, otherwise clean

Viewfinder useable, a little cloudy. Lens mostly clear, trivial internal dust and focus, iris a little stiff. Part-complete case, tatty. Agfa Record in good cosmetic condition with working shutter, but lens has internal fungus. Canvas case.

Body has signs of moderate use, with minor paint loss and peeling leatherette round lens, but no serious dings. Everything appears to work, and lens has no major issues.

Lens unusually nice, and shutter would probably work freely with external lubrication. Dark slides smart and polished.

A Chapman `The British` Quarter-Plate Camera, with maroon bellows, with wheel-stop 4 in Beck Wide Angle Rectilinear lens and double dark slide, body G, lens F Unusually well preserved and attractive - the usual minor faults do not greatly detract. Bellows intact with wear and pinholes to corners. Brass fittings complete and in good condition. Wood has usual tripod marks and minor abrasions, but attractive. Lens has few marks with minor separation at extreme front edge.

Brass Lenses: Busch f/8 Rapid Symmetrical, focal length 8in, body F-G, elements F, and unmarked Petzval type with slot for Waterhouse stops (missing), focal length 5in, body F-G, elements G-VG The Busch lens has some internal fungus which might clean up if dismantled. The Petzval lens is attractive with glass nice and clean, unusual for this period. Focus works, a bit on the slack side. Hood nice and bright, lens body dull and worn but could polish up nicely. Note: neither lens has a mounting flange.
A Canon VI-T, serial no. 603170, G, with Canon meter, f/1.2 lens, P, cap, boxed lens hood, instructions Body is clean - signs of light use only. It seems to work well - rangefinder works but patch a bit dull. Meter responds to light and retains translucent baffle. Lens has signs of moderate to heavy use with paint loss on barrel. Optics show extensive internal clouding, but might clean up if dismantled. Lens hood is immaculate as is original leather case; cartonboard container failing at glue seam but in reasonable condition. Clean instruction book.
