In a fitted mahogany case with tripod and lens, and with a makers label on the inside of the case. This lot also includes some typed letters from the National Service League, and 38th Welsh Division, thanking the owner for its use in during WW1. Great War Period Officers Telescope, being a three draw brass bodied example with the remains of the leather covering to the main body of the telescope. Stamped “E VION PARIS 5 7 3/5” and broad arrow mark. Some wear to the lens but still relatively clear. Accompanied by some items of Trench Art, cigarette cards and 11th November 1918 newspaper.
