Five rifle scopes Five rifle scopes, to include a Simmons Whitetail 3.5-10x50, Option Zero 4x32, an unbranded 4x28 scope, Nikko Stirling Silver Crown 4x32, and a Nikko Stirling Mountmaster 4x32.There are some scuffs and marks to the paint finish of the Simmons Whitetail 3.5-10x50, and the Nikko Stirling Silver Crown 4x32. There is a bloom to the edge of the objective lens of the Nikko Stirling Silver Crown which looks like a slight fuzziness around the edge of the image. Outside of this all look in reasonably good condition with no obvious signs of damage. The Mountmaster scope does not appear to give any magnification at all when adjusted and appears to show a 1 for 1 image when sighted through even though it is 4X. All scopes have 1inch tubes.
Bushnell 3-9x40EG scope and a Hawke 3-9x50 AO scope Bushnell 3-9x40EG scope and a Hawke 3-9x50 AO scope. The Bushnell has some light scuffs and wear to the finish, whilst it shows a clean picture to sight through there is a slight mistiness that can be seen on the ocular lens. The Hawke scope lacks to the covers to the adjustment knobs. There is some slight wear to the finish. A clean clear picture is seen when sighting through the scope. Both scopes adjust correctly.
Macpherson stalking scope Macpherson three drawer stalking telescope, with leather case initialled P.S. The scope is in excellent overall condition. The lenses could do with a clean as they are dusty in places, especially around the edges. The scope comes apart with ease and we have been able to clean most lenses but a brush or other tool is needed to access the edges of the inner ocular lens in order to remove all accumulated dust particles which can be seen when sighting through the scope. The lenses are free from scratches or damages. The rest of the scope shows minimal wear and handling marks. The barrels slide in and out smoothly. The ocular lens once had a sliding cover, this is missing from this scope and there is a vacant slot showing this see image 5 online. When sighting through the scope a clear picture can be seen (except for the dust on the edges as listed above) the scope focuses well at a variety of distances.
Aldis rifle scope Aldis L.105 rifle scope, with fine crosshair reticule, fitted with Parker Hale GTM2 mounts. The scope tube has some scattered corrosion spots throughout but mainly to the rear of the scope. There are no dents or signs or damage. Both lenses are very dirty, the ocular lens has substantial fungus growth on the inside and needs a good clean as this is obvious when sighting through the scope. The lenses both look otherwise in good state without scratches or damages. The horizontal cross-hair adjusts up and down when the knob on top of the scope is moved. Some of the screw head slots are slightly chewed from use.
