RARE WWII U BOAT BINOCULARS: A pair of rare Second World War WWII issue Kriegsmarine Carl Zeiss U-boat commander submarine 7x50 binoculars, complete with folding Benutzer eye piece guard to sights, rubber end protectors and rubber grips to eye pieces. Stamped ' blc ' ' 54450. Come within a believed original leather, case. Fabulous binoculars. Very rare in this form. CONDITION: Very good. Paintwork is 'used,' and there is slight delamination to the right-hand lens, but nothing that detracts at all from looking through the binoculars. Very clear, undamaged lenses. (although this condition report is offered here, buyers are reminded to satisfy themselves as to all conditions prior to bidding and is offered as a guide only).

The base serves as an oil sump and is equipped with a screw filler. Plus, another later BR style round black painted hand held guard’s lamp, with red, green and clear aspect lenses. Also a Lucas bicycle lamp. An example painted in black with adjustable fitting bracket to rear, clear round lens to front with rectangular green lenses to sides.
