GWR 3 aspect brass collar coppertop handlamp stamped in the side GWR V SWINDON and brass plated 988. Complete with correct copper skinned reservoir also stamped GWR V and GWR burner, front lens etched GWR. Nicely restored and complete with all glasses. These are a lot rarer than the standard coppertop lamps.
A 19th century mahogany and lacquered brass three draw telescope, engraved 'J.King, Clare Street, Bristol, 70cm long extended, with sleeve CONDITION REPORT: The large lens is grubby and the telescope does not appear to focus at present. There is a slight knock to the brass rim at both ends of the telescope. General tarnishing and wear to the metal and wood surface throughout. Overall a little tired.
An early 19th century lacquered brass field microscope, by Banks & Son Strand London - Trust Makers to His Majesty, in fitted mahogany box, box 21.5cm long, (at fault) CONDITION REPORT: The small leather case holds three metal pointers with screw threads, the are heavily rusted.
