English, c.1880, signed on the boss at the top of the stand ROSS LONDON standing on a massive brass tripod with three folding legs, with geared control to base of tapered column sermination in a large trunion with friction break and geared adjustment, telescope tube mounted on stand with two large knurled wheels, tube with star finder rack and pinion focusing, with 90deg prism two eyepieces, lens hood and lens cover, telescope length 145cm, height to top of trunnion 80cm
German, c.1910, with original instructions marked 'EP' for Ernst Plank, Nurmberg, constructed of nickel plated steel, with internal clockwork mechanism which drives a shutter and rotated a celluloid disk of images, this though the viewing lens at the front shows a simple animation, from the instructions ' The toy-pocket-cinetograph shows the surprising and charming scenes as we are accustomed to the cinematographic performances. A slight pressure on the arrest button - the clockwork begins and all is animated', with original instructions, box and 2 disks of images, diameter 8cm.

Young, ARPS (Royal Photographic Society) of Grantown-on-Spey, together with an interesting box of approximately 80 magic lantern slides, circa 1920s or earlier of mostly Middle Eastern subjects, ancient colonnaded city views, Arab bazars and tradesmen, camels etc. taken by R.Young.Some damage and deterioration of edges of slides but most images bright and unfaded.
A microscope, by W Watson & Sons, High Holborn, London with brass and black lacquered finish, cased, overall height of case including handle 46cm, together with two boxes of slides.Condition report: Teeth are missing on the main rack, the rack to eyepiece lens only extends to approx 5mm, stage rack teeth all present operate well, objective lenses move well, one objective lens not attached. A 19th century mahogany and brass bellows camera, fitted a Becks Symmetrical lens, width 19cm and two mahogany plate holders.Condition report: The shutter and lens are in working order. A hinge to the interior is loose with screws missing, the main case is sturdy but shows signs of wear, nut missing to outer case. Some losses to drop down front around opening mechanism.
