Robert Gustave Mouzillat (French, 1913–2010), Abstract - untitled oil on canvas, signed lower left and dated 'Janvier 1986' verso 39 x 31¾in. (99 x 81cm.) * Robert Mouzillat was an early pioneer of 3D photography and television, founding the RoMo company with his father, Gustave and inventing a two lens 3D camera in the 1950s. Pablo Picasso was intrigued by the 3D photo process and invited Mouzillat to his home over the Easter weekend in 1957, resulting in thousands of images, some released commercially for the 3D RoMo viewer.
