Steward, .402 Strand', the mahogany case with fitted interior, comprising; bullseye lens, objectives in matching stamped cases, four eye pieces, stage conversion, scissors, tweezers and scalpels, the microscope 44cm high. A mid 19c Bar Limb microscope by W Ladd of London. The lacquered brass body has a triple nosepiece, rack and pinion focussing and adjustable stage with condensing mirror below. It's accessories include objective lenses, eyepieces, another stage and glasses for both stages. There is also a freestanding condensing bulls eye lens and all are contained in a fitted box, 15 long overall.
