Belgian 1843 pattern Cuirassier’s Helmet. A good example with silvered skull, with brass line edging. To the front a large impressive Lion Head. To the left side a brass plume holder. To the crown, is a gilt metal comb, to each side floral leaf decoration. The front with a white metal flaming grenade device from the comb a flowing black horse hair plume, with a brass mount brush to the front. A pair of circular brass bosses support a set of brass chin scales. The interior retains original leather lining. The overall condition is good, with minor age wear.
French Cavalry Pattern Trooper’s Helmet. A good quality example the gilt skull, with silvered line edging. To the front a silvered helmet plate embossed with a flaming grenade device. To the left side a silvered plume holder and to the crown, is a silvered metal comb, to each side floral leaf decoration. The front is with a Medusa’s head looking forward, from the comb a black horse hair brush plume. A pair of lion head embossed circular bosses support a set of leather backed brass chin scales. The interior with leather lining. Overall GC Clean condition. A similar helmet can be seen in “Military Headdress” By Robert. H. Rankin. Page 70. illustration 117.
63rd (West Suffolk) Regiment 1830 pattern Officer’s Shoulder-Scales A good and rare pair of Company Officer’s scales, these with blue cloth strap edged with gold “vellum” pattern lace, similar lace forming binders, gilt crescents and buttons bearing ‘63’ within a star. Patent tongue fasteners by W & T Buckmaster bearing serial number 2342. Small dents to crescents, minor moth peppering, otherwise GC.
Victorian Royal Marine Artillery 1830 Pattern Undress Shoulder Scales. A very rare and good pair of the Regimental pattern. Gilt metal crescent enclosing a gold bullion flaming grenade resting on a black cloth ground. The strap with a wide band of bullion lace and retaining gilt regimental button. The underside with brass bar connecting clip. Bullion remains fresh minor wear and moth nips to the underside GC. Contained in original spacial pattern metal storage tin.
German Third Reich Police Bayonet by Alexander Coppel, Solingen. A good 33 cm blade example with eagle’s head pommel. Two piece simulated stags horn grip bearing silvered police device. The cross guard bears oak leaf decoration and is stamped ‘G.L. 55’ which is repeated on the top mount of the brown leather nickel mounted scabbard. The plated blade bears maker’s details on one side, maker’s scales logo on the other. Minor service wear. Slight lifting to plating on chape ... complete with brown leather frog, dated 1937, by Rothe, Braunschweig, GC

To the crown, is a gilt metal comb, to each side floral leaf decoration. The front is with a Medusa’s head looking forward, from the comb a flowing black horse hair plume. A pair of plain domed circular bosses support a set of leather backed brass chin scales. The interior with leather lining. Overall GC leather interior dry to parts.
