Royal Horse Guards / Blues & Royal Officer's Cuirass. A scarce example comprising of front and back polished steel plates complete with gilt brass shoulder scales. The front plate is edged with gilt brass and studs. The centre is with a high comb. The back plate is again with gilt brass edging and studs. Also with the shoulder strap attachments in the form of two silvered lion's head boss's. The straps are with silvered floral studs and lion's heads. Lining of red grained leather and velvet edging. With some service and storage wear.

Austrian Officer's Czapka for the 7th Uhlan Regiment of Lancers. This example with a black patent leather body, surmounted by black melton cloth upper section with bullion cord. This supports a bullion cockade. To the front an Austrian Imperial Eagle with the number '7' to it's chest. Complete with gilt chin scales, supported by lion head bosses. The interior with leather sweatband and crimson cloth lining. Bullion dull. ... Accompanied by carrying case.

Lothian and Berwickshire Imperial Yeomanry Officer's Full Dress Tunic. A good scarce example of the pattern worn from 1904 until 1914. Scarlet melton cloth, with dark blue collar, cuffs and skirt-slashes. Collar, edged all round with gold 'Broken Bias' lace, bearing fine and massive garb badges in gold embroidery on red backing. Deep pointed cuffs edged with similar lace, traced above with a row of gold Russia braid eyes. Skirt-slashes each bearing two buttons and also edged with gold Russia and lace. Blue cloth piping to fronts and back-seams. Complete with King's Crown Lothians & Berwickshire Imperial Yeomanry buttons. Detachable shoulder-scales absent, slight staining. GC.

WW1 Imperial German Prussian Guard Pioneer Officer's Pickelhaube. A very good and rare example, this WW1 manufactured example with black fibre skull, front and rear peaks. To the front a Magnificent large Guard pattern eagle mounted to its breast a Guard pattern Star. This with silvered finish, which is matched by the tall spike and trim edging. Complete with original gilt brass chin scales of the correct pattern. The interior with soft brown leather sweatband and retaining upper silk lining, this now part shot. The overall condition is good, some even crazing to the skull and some wear to the plating. Rear peak slightly distorted and the attachment to the skull Retains a good shape.

WW1 Imperial German Hessen Infantry Reserve Officer's Pickelhaube, Model 1897. A good scarce example. Black leather skull with front and rear peaks, the front one trimmed in gilt brass. To the front, a fine gilt plate of crowned Hessen lined lion bearing a sword resting in laurel and oak sprays; mounted with small silvered Reserve Maltese cross. Quadrant spike base with correct plain domed rivets, supports fluted gilt spike. Complete with original gilt brass chin scales with correct rosettes. The interior with soft tan leather sweatband and retaining upper silk lining. The overall condition is good, some even crazing to the skull and some general service wear. GC

To the front, a gilt brass plate of crowned WŸrttemberg Coat of Arms. Quadrant spike base star shaped rivets, supports plain gilt spike with pearl ring base. Complete with original leather backed gilt brass chin scales with two piece rosettes. The interior with soft tan leather sweatband and retaining slightly distressed upper silk lining. The overall condition is good, gilt toned, some even crazing to the skull and some general service wear. Back peak and lining possibly replaced. GC

To the front, a gilt brass star bearing silvered cross with Saxon Arms. Circular spike base with three star shaped rivets and one plain domed, supports plain gilt spike with pearl ring base. Complete with original leather backed gilt brass chin scales with two piece rosettes. The interior with soft tan leather sweatband and retaining upper silk lining. The overall condition is good, gilt toned, some even crazing to the skull and some general service wear ... complete with light grey cloth field cover bearing internal black stamped 'D.R.P. GC

German Third Reich Government Official's dagger by Alcoso, Solingen circa 1939-42. A fine rare example with simulated mother of pearl grip and silver plated mounts. Eagle's head ornamented pommel, crossguard and langet bearing an eagle and swastika facing same way as pommel, the blade etched with maker's scales logo. Housed in its finely pebbled plated scabbard, the oakleaf bands retaining both loose suspension rings. Toned externally, blade bright. VGC Introduced in March 1939; production ceased in mid 1942.
