dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Belgium, Revolving group of six, 9 mm cal. barrels, in damask, numbered en suite with the breeches. Base with Liege test-bed stamps. Frame of almost cylindrical shape, engraved with rinceaux, ring-trigger with under-hammer. Wooden grip scales (later). Central grip's band engraved en suite. In good working order. length 19,5 cm.
dating: 1875-1890 provenance: Germany, Round, rifled, 11 mm cal. barrel, with octagonal base, provided with fore-sight, serial numbers. Fluted, six-shot cylinder, with numbered chambers. Iron frame marked 'F.V. DREYSE SOMMERDA'. Pitting on the left side. Safety lock with remains of antique finishing. Wooden, checkered grip scales. Ring for a strap. length 25,5 cm.
dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Belgium, Cylindrical, rifled, 7 mm cal. barrel, with fore-sight, engraved at the nozzle and base with rinceaux on a dotted ground. A folding blade mounted in the lower part, with release button at the base, protective shell-guard with remains of antique finishing and marking 'BAYET FRES BREVETS'. Smooth, six-shot cylinder with band engraved en suite. Liege test-bed stamp. Frame richly engraved with rinceaux on a dotted ground. Folding trigger. Ebony grip scales, chiselled and checkered. Spur-trigger. Wooden grip scales, frame with opening to host a butt-plate. Serial number '18xx'. length 48 cm.
dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: USA, Octagonal, rifled, cal. 36 barrel, provided with fore-sight; smooth, six-shot cylinder with remains of antique finishing, frame marked in the upper part with manufacturer's caption and with patents of 1856, 1859 and 1860; grip with smooth, walnut grip scales (some rust on the bottom of the grip); big trigger-guard provided with trigger and ring-shaped loading lever. Mechanics in good working order, core and groove well preserved. length 35 cm.

dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Milan, Four, smooth-bore, turn-off, 12 mm cal. barrels, in damask, on a rolling block, with pistons in line and Liege test-bed stamp. Frame of almost cylindrical shape, engraved with rinceaux and rear cartouche with signature 'CALABRESI A MILAN'. Central band of the grip engraved en suite. Ebony grip scales with veining and small part missing. Some pitting. Ring-trigger, lower hammer, in working order. length 23,3 cm.
dating: late 17th Century provenance: India, Kulha-khud with thick, hammered skull, hemispherical, adorned with raisers outside, surmounted with a cusp, provided with sliding nose-piece and two plume-holders, provided with iron mail neck-defense with simple rings; riveted lower reinforcement band. Together with bazu-band, of strong shape, with riveted frames, in two, hinged elements. Coat of mail composed of thick, riveted rings that are getting thinner toward the sleeves and downwards. Back-plate with rows of overlapping scales. Breast-plate with four, iron plates provided with buckles and some engraved letters. A plate on the back, engraved with inscription in Devanagari language. Translation: 'Shirt was taken at the siege of Adoni 1689. When the Adil Shahi dynasty succumbed to Aurangazeb. Subsequently remained in Bijapur'. height as shown circa 125 cm.

Central band and iron cap. Wooden, leather-covered scabbard (old repairs and parts missing), with two, iron bands, provided with a loop. length 90 cm.
dating: 19th Century provenance: Turkey, Flat, curved, single-edged blade, in damask, with a small engraving at the base. Silver grip, engraved, with horn grip scales. Wooden, leather-covered scabbard with silver, engraved mounts. Two suspension rings. Small damages and parts missing. length 92 cm.
dating: late 17th Century provenance: Ottoman Empire, Slightly curved, double-edged blade, in damask, with central raiser and with four grooves, a flat rectangle at the forte on both sides, with remains of gold decorations. Grip with dark, wooden grip scales, decorated in the central band and with twenty one, silver, engraved flowers. Wooden scabbard, completely covered with silver foil, with fantastic, nielloed, floral decorations and with remains of gilding. Front part with five facets, the central with Arabic inscriptions in bass-relief on a golden ground, inside the two cartouches, divided by a flower. The two lateral facets, apparently smooth, are actually decorated with filigree floral motifs and arabesques, external bands with flowers in bass-relief on a grained ground. Relieved ends, cap with braided bands, decorated with nielloed and engraved pendants, chape with a turban-pommel, decorated en suite and with remains of gilding. Faceted button. Smooth back part, engraved and nielloed with floral motifs and with a stamp (Tughra). Suspension ring. Daggers of this type are rarely found on the international market but it is really difficult to see a specimen with a nice scabbard like this. See similar specimen in 'Die Karlsruher Türkenbeute', Hirmer Verlag München, 1991. On page 202 there is a dagger with a similar blade and grip's shape (no. 148). Other specimens can be found in the Histoisches Museum Dresden, in the Livrustenkammaren in Stockholm, in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna and in many other international museums and private collections.Literature: Stöcklein, 1914, page 139 fig. 32, Petrarch 1952, page 667. length 30.5 cm.
dating: 1848 provenance: Grand Duchy of Tuscany, Black, rigid, leather skull, metallic front badge, with shell-guard with crowned inscription 'LEOPOLDO II'; cusp-chape, faceted, surmounted with a sphere, provided with black horsehair and cross-base; tricolor cockade on the left side, in painted foil; leather, reinforced chin-straps with brass scales. Leather cap inside. height 33 cm.
