Imperial German Prussian NCO’s Pickelhaube, leather bodied helmet shell fitted with brass Prussian eagle helmet plate (damaged), brass front trim, NCO’s pattern spike and rear trim. The spike base has had the fixing studs replaced with small brass screws. Original officers pattern cockade to one side of the shell which supports leather backed brass scaled chinstraps, some scales absent from one side. Interior with leather NCO’s style liner system. Some flaking to the leather but all fittings match in patina. Light restoration needed.

Imperial German Prussian Administration Officers Pickelhaube, fine example having leather body with white metal officers Prussian helmet plate with gilt smaller Prussian eagle to the lower section and also gilt reserve cross. Square dip peak with white metal trim. Cruciform spike base with gilt metal securing stars, officers pattern fixed spike. Prussian state and national officers pattern cockades. Scaled white metal chin scales. Leather sweatband and officers cloth lining to the interior of the helmet. Good untouched example.
Imperial German Officers Pickelhaube, an unusual ersatz or colonial style helmet having a pressed felt main body with leather front and rear peaks. The helmet has white metal front trim, circular spike base, spike and rear spine. Helmet chin scales in brass and plain brass domed spike base rivets. Fitted with original officers national and Prussian state cockades. Helmet is fitted with an original Prussian officers helmet plate which has had a starburst for Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt added at a later date, Prussian plate has Koenig as opposed to Fuerst which this unit should have. Interior of the helmet has leather sweatband with blue cloth lining. An unusual helmet which appears to have had restoration during its life, sold on this basis.
Imperial German Prussian Grenadiers Mitre Cap with Original Storage Cover and Case, fine officers example with very good quality silvered large front plate, leather backed white metal scaled chin scales, white metal sides and rear section decorated with trophies and flaming grenades. Red cloth rear section with braid strips. Helmet is complete with a bullion cockade. Interior has an officers style leather liner and cloth lining, inside is a black cloth which looks to be a later addition. Black oilskin storage cover and specially produced leather storage case.
Scarce Kurassier Regiment Kaiser Nicholas 1st of Russia (Brandenburg) Number 6 Other Ranks Helmet, fine untouched example being tombak shell, with silver trim to the peak, white metal other ranks large pattern Prussian eagle helmet plate. Large type other ranks state and national cockades. Leather backed scaled brass chin scales. White metal domed rivets to the rear lobster tail. White metal spike base and removable brass spike. Interior complete with the original leather liner. Rear of the shell stamped “585”. Helmet shows some service wear and is uncleaned.
