Interesting WW2 German Police Issue K98 Combat Bayonet, being a later war produced example with no acceptance stamps as these were used as commercial items. Has the more red bakelite grips. Housed in blued steel scabbard. Blade with Police eagle acceptance stamp to the spine of the blade, the only other marking on the blade is the later trade mark for Alcoso Werke Solingen, AWS in scales. The blade retains nearly all of the blued finish. Bayonet has a black leather frog attached which is RB Nr numbered to the reverse but with later spurious SS runes markings. An unusual variation bayonet.

Victorian North Somerset Yeomanry 1847 ‘Albert’ Pattern Dress Helmet, fine example with white metal shell having large gilt metal Victorian crowned helmet plate to the centre. Large rosette side bosses and linked leather backed chin scales. Black horse hair plume with rosette top mount. Interior retains officers quilted lining. Generally good example.
