A Rare Indo-Persian, Islam "Pesh-kabz" Dagger, wootz blade, gold kofgari, 18th century. The wootz blade of T-section with double curve. The hilt is decorated with gold koftgari and fitted with a pair of bone grip-scales. The wooden scabbard is covered with velvet. Silver mouth and end of the scabbard, decorated with high-quality engraving. A beautiful Islamic dagger, in excellent condition. Length 42 cm.

A Newlyn embossed copper oval tray. Length 48 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The fish and shells appear quite dull. When viewed from the underside they have originally had scales etc which are not visible now from the top. There is a dent to the left-hand side centre and there is also some marks and stains which will be visible on the photograph. When placed on a flat surface you can also see that the tray is very slightly twisted. Although looking at it this is barely noticeable.

19th Century mahogany apothecary box, the hinged velvet lined lid opening to reveal ten glass phials with stoppers in compartments, a stainless steel tongue depresser, and a brass locking pin lifting to release the drawer below, which contains a glass mortar & pestle and steel and brass balance scales with weights in a removable tray, under which there are two further phials, each containing white powder, and labelled 'True James' Powder, Randall & Son Chemists to the Queen, Southampton' and 'Calomel'. Dimensions of box: 20cm x 17cm x 15.5cm.
