A Rare Indo-Persian, Islam "Pesh-kabz" Dagger, wootz blade, gold kofgari, 18th century. The wootz blade of T-section with double curve. The hilt is decorated with gold koftgari and fitted with a pair of bone grip-scales. The wooden scabbard is covered with velvet. A Newlyn embossed copper oval tray. Length 48 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The fish and shells appear quite dull. When viewed from the underside they have originally had scales etc which are not visible now from the top. There is a dent to the left-hand side centre and there is also some marks and stains which will be visible on the photograph. When placed on a flat surface you can also see that the tray is very slightly twisted. Although looking at it this is barely noticeable.
