GROUP OF FISHING EQUIPMENT,comprising flies, including a set in Hardy Bros simulated tortoiseshell box, spinners and Devon minnows, a set of Salter brass hanging spring scales, canvas carry bag and other equipmentThe box is made by the Hardy bros. The bag is manufactured "Liddesdale", the bag itself does have some fraying around the edges, the leather strap is staring to stretch, stains and residue also present. A very large cased pike taxidermy; handwritten paper label top left 'PIKE LOCH LAGGAN 31lb 7oz. 15TH OCT. 1928', paper label interior top right: 'PRESERVED BY JOHN MACPHERSON & SONS, TAXIDERMISTS & FURRIERS, EVERY REQUISITE FOR MOOR, FOREST & STREAM' (case size 130cm wide x 23.5cm deep x 42cm high) Condition Report: The condition is reasonable. There are some scales away mostly to the top/middle section and to the rear of the tail (also some scales are a slightly different colour) - commensurate with age. The reeds appear to be OK but are dusty in the 'riverbed' area. The glass is intact without cracks or problems noted.
